About ImmunoCR Database

ImmunoCR is a repository of bioactive compounds from plant materials. It is a comprehensive collection of information on bioactive compounds found in plants that have demonstrated the ability to modulate the immune system. These compounds, commonly referred to as nutraceuticals, have been studied for their potential to enhance the immune response and prevent or treat various health conditions.

The database includes information on the source plants, chemical structure, and mechanisms of action of the immunomodulatory compounds. It also includes physicochemical properties, chemical classification, nutraceutical profile and pharmacokinetic profiles that have investigated the effects of these compounds on the immune system. The database aims to provide a resource for researchers, healthcare professionals, and the general public interested in the potential benefits of plant-based nutraceuticals for immune health.

With the increasing interest in natural remedies and the growing recognition of the important role of the immune system in health and disease, this database serves as a valuable tool for exploring the potential benefits of plant-based nutraceuticals. Users can access the database of either by the browsing ICR ID or the Chemical Name, depending on their own preferences.

The funding of this project is supported by the CSIR-Mission Mode Programme on Immuno Modulatory Function of Nutritionals and Nutraceuticals for Health and Wellness (HCP-35). This project is also thankful to the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi, and CSIR-IITR for providing computational resources.
